Hatha Yoga with Neal

Open General Classes

Drop in to an Open class with Neal. Each session has a theme (e.g. moving with the breath, or how to integrate the spine in standing poses). The aim is cultivate an all round practice in which we feel incredibly steady and completely at ease in our body and mind.

Gentle Yoga

These classes are similar to the Open Classes except that we work more gently. Suitable for beginners and for those who prefer a more gentle approach.

Yoga Essentials

Theme based classes exploring the essentials of the practice. For experienced practitioners and beginners, this classes focus on healthy alignment and posture, and offers tools for your body and mind to feel more at ease. We may explore:

  • Moving with our breath
  • Becoming more aware of our spine and how to keep it healthy
  • Encouraging energy flow through our body
  • Finding a mobile, breathing and strong centre
  • Moving with greater awareness from the inside out

Restorative Yoga – monthly sessions called The Big Relax

Time out to relax! By relaxing deeply and consciously we allow tension to release, we allow our bodies to soften, for energy to flow. By re-connecting with our ‘natural’ relaxed self, as reknown teacher Judith Lasater says, we restore and renew our energy levels. In these sessions we use blankets, bolsters and other props to lie over for long periods of time, focusing relaxation and the breath and These practices are ideal for times of chronic or acute stress, in times of illness, or when simply feeling depleted.
